5 year old Jye Van Eede from Berwick VIC caught his first ever Port Jackson Shark and was extremely excited.

This photo was taken of Bree Rush when she caught this big flat head all by herself at South West Rocks (NSW) while we were on holidays.

 

 

 

 

 

Kayne Tate from Walloon Qld caught this 3kg Trevally on hardie head bait on 3kg line with whiting set-up at the Broadwater. He thought he had a stringray until he finally brought it in.  It fought hard and nearly dragged Kayne in but after about 10 tens he landed it. Kayne's Dad cooked him on the BBQ for lunch and everyone at the caravan park was jealous and they all started fishing in Kayne's spot for the rest of the weekend with no luck!

 

 

Jye Phillips caught this nice flattie on lake illawarra on a cold rainy day. Jye Caught it on the last live beach worm and it Weighed in at 610g and measured 50cm.

 

 

 

 

12 year old Bradyn Stander from Lakeland WA (recently from South Africa) caught this 15.8kg Snapper that my dad and I tagged and released. See the green tag in the side of the fish just under the top fins. I have also just won the Kalbarri Classic as 1st Junior and 2nd junior at the recent Gamex in Exmouth. I really am enjoying Australia and its great angling.

 

 

Jordan Dimmock from Salamander Bay NSW caught her first fish (Leatherjacket) on prawns in Salamander Bay.

 

 

 

 

Liam Rawles of Nhulumbuy NT caught this skinny throwing poppers around on flats at Bremmer Island on the Gove Peninsula.

 

13 year old Aaron Trims from Pelican Waters QLD caught this Long-tailed Tuna just off the Caloundra Bar on the Sunshine Coast fishing with my Dad. It put up a good fight and it took me an hour to land it in the boat but it was worth the effort! It would be great to be entered into your photo competition as this is one of my greatest moments yet!

 

 

 

 

 

Liam Rawles from Nhulunbuy, NT caught this 70cm Saratoga caught at 2mile hole in Kakadu.

 

 

Jayden Mallia of Dean Park, Sydney caught this nice fish.

It was a great week, the scab on the lip is from a bike accident earlier in the week, those trees can move quick!!

 

 

Ned  Wright from Manifold Heights, VIC was fishing with his dad and sister Lucie and brother Henry while camping at Apollo Bay (Vic) in the Barham River. It was a little mullet that was sent back to 'his mummy and daddy'.

 


 

 

 

Ella - aged 4 from NSW. Ella's dad Steve says; "I think the smile sums up her enthusiasm perfectly. Her new pink J Walker is getting a hammering and she’s just big enough to see into the water from our boat. She manages to get the fish to boat and calls “get the net” so I pray that we have many many adventures to share over the coming years".

Jake Beatie - aged 11 (now 14) from Wyndhamvale, VIC. Jake's dad Wayne say's "This was my sons first fishing trip we were on the Murray at Barmah in Victoria when he caught this turtle on a bit of mozzarella cheese, I thought people were pulling my leg but I also caught a Murray cod on the same day using it as bait . Jake was eleven years old when he caught the turtle he is now 13 years old & we try to get up to the Murray as often as possible to do a bit of camping and fishing.

 

10 year old Justin Petrohilos of Jimboomba, QLD landed this Nannanngai while on holiday north of Townsville over the Easter weekend. Nice work mate!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simone Muuray- aged 11 from Parkinson, QLD has a great love of the outdoors and loves to read.  She enjoys camping, driving the 4x4 and fishing.  Fishing hasn’t been a big winner yet but she has fished Fraser and Moreton Islands, she will catch that big fish soon!

 

After Simone read a recent copy of '4wd Action' she sat down and created ‘Live the Life’ drawing.  She is always surprising myself (Dad) and her Mum with things she would like to do.
