sent this beauty of a yarn....

Here’s a photo that caused me some shame north of Perth in the plantation area. My brother asked if I would get through there alright. I said "yep", when I should of said ‘I dunno’. As the photo shows, that 'arvo, the beers were on me.

What had me stuffed was that after my brother pulled me out, I said to him ‘you have a go’ and his answer was ‘no thanks, I don’t want my car to get dirty’. I thought that statement alone deserved a round of beers on him, but we got nothing, typical Bravo driver!

The other photo was taken at a place called Black Bull Yard south of Darwin in the work truck.
The day started by leaving Darwin and just after lunch we had hit the dirt, only about twenty km's down the track we found ourselves two feet deep on the passenger’s side, so we successfully backed out of that. Then we proceeded over the high ground to the right, and as we got over the top the whole lot went down. With a lot of digging we finally gave up at 10 pm as it started to rain territory style, we got out the next day around lunch time after more digging and pumping the water out of the wheel tracks.
By the way, note the mud level on the side of the caravan and also I’m still smiling the next morning (its all good fun).

This blog covers the different locations I've been to on Earth.
•    I have actually been to 4 of the 7 continents on Earth which sounds a bit wilder than it really is. I was born in California and have grown up in the US as well as been to and through more than a dozen states. That counts for North America.
•    I have visited Israel several times so that is Asia and I have also been to Korea which counts for Asia once more.
•    I was in Colombia last year and that is South America.
•    Now I am currently in Oceania which is Australia and soon I shall be in New Zealand which is also part of Oceania.
Then again, I guess it is pretty cool to have been to those 4 continents because I am 19 and I have the opportunity to visit many more countries this lifetime.

I've also been all over the west coast of Mexico which is a country I highly recommend . In fact, I recommend all of the Latin countries spanning from Mexico down south through Chile and Argentina. I will also include Spain and just because we are mentioning Europe, I will also recommend Italy. I have quite a few Italian friends and any chance they have, they will brag of their home country which, based on all of the stories, movies, recommendations etc. appears to merit such compliments.

I plan on visiting Europe, Africa and at some point Antarctica . What? Don't look at me that way! I have to see aurora australis (southern lights) this lifetime!

Funny enough, I haven't been to New York. I have some friends there and they claim it is nice but LA pretty much was all of the big city I could take! What with the traffic, pollution, crowds, etc.

Peace guys,
Daniel Amsalem
