Jase and Rodo are a couple of modern day adventurers; they travel in to some of the most remote places Australia has to offer. In the remote areas that Jase and Rodo travel to, you will not find tour guides or charter boats; they are on their own. If it all goes wrong, it’s a long way from help. Traveling 100’s of Kilometers on dirt roads and extreme 4wheel driving then 100’s of Nautical Miles by ocean, the boys show you what Australia has to offer off the beaten track.
In this 10 part series, Jase and Rodo take you to one of the most remote and hostile places that the world has to offer, and that place is the Kimberley’s in Western Australia. Just getting to their destination, the Walcott Inlet, is an adventure in itself. First they travel 3800 Kilometers from Noosa in Queensland to the Gibb River Road in the Kimberley’s. Then they travel 500 Kilometers up the Gibb with a 2 ton trailer boat behind them. It’s a 12 hour trek up the Gibb, before heading 230 kilometers down some 'goat track' to a place called Munja Camp. From there, they launch their tinny and travel 40 Kilometers up the Walcott Inlet into the Isdell River. The Walcott Inlet and it's rock bars are known for their dangerous 11m tides and huge Barramundi. Make a mistake here and it could cost you your life!
But they don’t stop there, they tow the big boat to Kalumburu and launch at Napier Broome Bay, they explore 1oo's of Kilometers of Kimberley Coast line to show you this spectacular area. They catch huge Kimberley mud crabs buy hand as well as the elusive meter plus Barramundi. They discover a World War 2 plane wreck and do some bush cooking in absolutely awesome places.
